At school recently, people have been comenting on the weath of my family. I speak with quite a posh accent, because that was the way I was brought up. I live in a four bedroomed house, my bedroom has an ensuite bathroom and a walk in closet. We have 3 bathrooms and a large kitchen, a lounge, a dining room, a study, a play room, a utility room and the dogs room (I have two dogs) at the bottom of our large garden we have a small summer house and round patio. We live next to a group of large fields and my dad works in the big city. Every so often he buys me designer bags from the boutique down there and we go to the theatre every month. We also have a cleaner and a personal mechanic. Some people at school had been commenting that I was spoilt and they commented on my gucci school bag and designer shoes. It’s putting me down, I want to know an honest opinion.

Honestly, having nice things does not make you spoiled. Your parents can be billionaires and that still does not make you spoiled, spoiled is the way you act. If you get everything you want without having to wok for it and without being grateful than that makes you spoiled.

P.S- if you wanna "fit" in just blend in and dont wear things ‘designer" stufff, just because you can afford it doesnt mean people will like it or appreciate the fact that you can afford it because right now in this tough economy people, (the hard working middle class!) are getting laid off..etc

Tbh – when you go to school wear what you want and dress how you wanna dress. You could be classified as spoiled because you’re lucky enough to be in that situation
Do you think if the people teasing you had those items they wouldn’t be wearing them? They would be wearing them coz they can afford them and who shouldn’t be allowed to wear what they want.
No one in the world can honestly say if they had the money they wouldn’t spoil themselves, children or whoever so often.
They probably tease you coz they’re jealous, and whoever says they’re not is probably lying. Just don’t show off and brag all the time coz then people will tease you and would have the right to if you begin flashing everything around. Just wear whatever and that’s all. Don’t go into school going "Look at what daddy just bought me!" coz that’s a bit too far (i’m not saying you do do that coz i don’t know)

Having nice things doesn’t mean you’re spoiled. It just means that your parents are most likely hard workers who have done well for themselves. If they give you everything you want and you don’t appreciate what you have then I’d say you’re spoiled. Speaking with a posh accent means nothing either.
You’re very detailed in your description of what you have and where you live. Speaking that way can come off as arrogant. You’re house doesn’t sound all that lavish to me but I’m sure it’s nice. As long as you don’t see yourself as being better than someone else because of how much you have then I can’t see why people would call you spoiled.
I think being educated is more important than being rich anyways. Which is why I would work on my spelling if I were you.
